Male (MLE) Airport

Speedboat departure times from MLE airport are 9:15am, 1:30pm, 5:30pm (roughly a 30-minute journey) to our first destination. Please plan your flight arrival times accordingly. For your departure flight back home please arrange for it to depart in the afternoon or evening on the last date of your tour.  Additional arrival info and travel info will be sent after you’ve completed your sign-up and payment.

What to Expect

This 7 day tour in the Maldives is a popular choice for those interested in the 4 day package but prefer an extra few days and some new sights to see.  After picking you up at the airport then we’re off to Maafushi for 3 nights, Maafushi is only 25 minutes away via speedboat, making it a nice easy transit after your long flight. Beautiful beaches, sand-bank island tours, great food, and hotel rooms with outstanding views of the ocean awaits!  After our 3 nights in Maafushi we will then head off to Fulidhoo – a local island full of friendly people and incredible adventures out at sea – including whale shark snorkelling, shark snorkelling, and more!

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Male, Maldives (MLE Airport) - transfer to Maafushi via speedboat

  • Arrivals: New departure times from MLE (Male) airport to Maafushi at 9:15am, 1:30pm, 5:30pm with Arena Hotel staff, walk out from the departure gates and look for a staff holidng a sign that says “Arena Hotel Maafushi”, the staffs name is Yameen. If for any reason you do not see Yameen then you can go to the information desk and use their phone to call him +9607947999.  After arriving in Maafushi our staff will carry your luggage as you take a short walk from the pier to our hotel.
  • After checking into your hotel then feel free to take a rest, walk around the island, or visit bikini beach for sun tanning & sunset.
  • Dinner at our hotel on the beach, please tell the staff your room number (breakfasts and dinners are included but not drinks – please pay for them separately). Optional drinks on the yacht after dinner, if you’re interested please enquire at the front desk).
  • Please confirm at the front desk if you will be taking part in the half day snorkel trip tomorrow (included in your package with BeachLife Tours)

Day 2Maafushi Island + Free Sandbank Snorkel Trip!

  • FREE sandbank snorkelling trip!  – Speedboat tour to a beautiful white sandbank island – includes free snorkelling equipment, a simple lunch on the beach, drinking water, & towels.  Don’t forget your sunscreen, swimsuit, & camera!  Departure around 9am.
  • Sunset at Maafushi bikini beach. Dinner at our hotel. Optional drinks on the yacht after dinner.
  • Please confirm at the front desk if you will be taking part in the Resort island day tour tomorrow (not included – please pay the hotel directly).

Day 3Maafushi Island + Day tour to a resort island!

  • Optional activity: Day trip to a resort island – Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort (or the resort of your choice depending which ones are available): Includes full use of the resort beaches, sunbeds, pool, free buffet lunch, unlimited free flow alcohol & soft drinks, return speedboat transfers. Cost = $130-$150 USD.  Depart around 9-10am.
  • Dinner at our hotel. Optional drinks on the yacht after dinner.

Day 4Fulidhoo Island

  • Check into hotel, tour the island with our guide Athif, & then optional group activity (kayaking, paddleboard, jet-ski, shark snorkeling, whale shark snorkeling, or sandbanks) – Athif will provide cost & details at the hotel.
  • Visit the beach tonight to see some sting-rays! Group dinner at our hotel around 7:30pm.

Day 5Fulidhoo Island

  • Optional group activity (kayaking, paddleboard, jet-ski, shark snorkeling, whale shark snorkeling, or sandbanks) – Athif will provide cost & details at the hotel.
  • Relax at bikini beach. Group dinner at our hotel around 7:30pm.

Day 6Fulidhoo Island

  • Fulidhoo beach-day and/or optional activities (kayaking, paddleboard, jet-ski, shark snorkeling, whale shark snorkeling, or sandbanks) – Athif will provide cost & details at the hotel.
  • Group dinner at our hotel around 7:30pm.

Day 7Transfer to Male (MLE) Airport

Depart Fulidhoo for Male airport between the hours of 10am – 12pm.  

*Note:  Please have your departure flight booked from Male (MLE) for the late afternoon or evening.
