Frequently asked questions

Can you tell me more about the BeachLife?

After traveling South East Asia since 1999, a couple of young backpackers started organizing groups of friends and showing them all their secret hotspots in South East Asia. Eventually word of mouth turned into a high demand for the tours and things developed into what BeachLife is today – a booming travel company since 2002; running small group tours to destination such as Thailand, Bali, Philippines, and now focusing purely on the Maldives.

Why should I travel with BeachLife?

We were the first Canadian travel company to start running group trips in South East Asia as well as the local islands throughout the Maldives. As we were established in 2002, we have over 18 years of experience in the industry and have a close relationship with the local community.

BeachLife offers tours out of the ordinary, nothing like most of the packages you see offered all over the net, or your local travel agents. BeachLife tours are laid-back, in the sense that you’re not rushed, you have all the freedom you would ever want, and we normally have 2-6 nights in each location. You’re always free to do what you like as we travel, if you’re not interested in any of the activities then no worries, do your own thing. Our guides are more like friends, easy to relate to and always a lot of fun.  Our BeachLife Maldives packages are suitable for all ages, whether you’re joining solo or with friends.

What time should I plan my flights to arrive in the Maldives (MLE airport)?

NEWairport pick-up info – To make it more convenient for you, we’ve arranged a new airport pick-up from our hotel staff – so that travelers can depart to our first island just shortly after arriving – without having to wait for the whole group.
